Welcome to the P&J Junior Church Page

Hi, we are P&J Junior Church and we’d like to join with the rest of the Parish in welcoming Andreas, Jennifer, Rebekah and Hannah into our family. . If you don’t know us, here’s what we do:

• We meet on term time Sundays during the first half of the service in P&J church hall (except when there’s an All-Age service).
• We do fantastic Bible-based craft activities and games.
• We listen to and discuss the great Bible stories retold specially for us.
• Whenever possible we try to spend some of the time in different age groups so everyone has a chance to learn and contribute.
• Sometimes we lead the All-Age worship too.
• We welcome all children between the ages of 3 and 11 (ish) and of course all the helpers are CRB-checked.

Now the actual service starts at 10am, we actually start a little earlier at 9.50am. This gives us time to do even more interesting things and also gives harassed parents a chance to ‘chill’ before the main service begins. We do the craft activities first for a change so don’t be late or you’ll miss out! We’ll still be back in time for Communion so we can do that as a family. So if you want to come along and see what you’re mssing or if you’d like to be a helper, contact our leader Fiona through the Parish Office or just turn up on any Junior Church Sunday.
